Team Play for Eight Kids
Use two teams of four with separate paper sets. Choose a catalogue game that explicitly supports eight players.
Choose a compatible game
The earlier Birthday Starship, Rainbow Bakery and Ocean Rescue games support up to eight players. The family collection supports up to six. Check the selected game’s range, choose 8 players and 2 teams where supported, and read its print plan before downloading.
- Team 1: a complete clue set and record set
- Team 2: a separate complete clue and record set
- Four pencils at each table
- One shared host-answer and hint set
- Optional invitations and certificates only if wanted
Give four children different jobs
Choose a reader, navigator, recorder and checker. The navigator points to the relevant diagram, row or route as the reader works. The recorder writes the agreed result; the checker asks which printed rule supports it. Pass the jobs around after each clue.
Keep both teams involved
Select each team separately in the host guide to track its progress. Offer hints quietly to the team that requests them. A team that finishes early can prepare an explanation of one useful deduction while the other continues. Read the ending when each team is ready and celebrate cooperation.
