Keep a Party on Time
Use the game’s suggested timeline to plan the session, then adjust to the group. Nobody loses for taking longer.
Plan from the selected game
Open its host guide and add the opening, individual clues, final task and review to your party plan. The time range is a design estimate rather than a measured child playtime. Leave room for reading aloud, role changes and a pause.
- Read the story and assign jobs
- Allow time for each clue and its working
- Leave the complete final task in the plan
- Pause after a demanding clue if helpful
- Save a few minutes for the ending and one shared deduction
When the group needs longer
Pause the timer and ask which step is uncertain. Change roles or offer the next hint. A short break works best when each team has written its current results and circled the clue it will return to. Keep the sheets together so setup does not need to start again.
When the party starts late
Read the opening yourself, use prepared whole-sheet sets and offer hints earlier. Keep every prerequisite result the final sheet needs. If the session must stop, save the paper records or retain the same web game and team for progress recovery.
