Run a Game for Two Kids
Two children can share one complete pack. Alternating jobs gives both a useful turn without turning the game into a race.
Combine and swap the roles
One child reads the goal and points to the evidence. The other records ideas and checks them against the rules. Swap after every completed clue; the adult can read aloud when useful.
- TURN A: child 1 reads and points; child 2 records and checks
- TURN B: child 2 reads and points; child 1 records and checks
- TOGETHER: agree the result and put it beside its badge
- FINAL: each child explains at least one check
Try a Robot Talent Show partnership
On Signal, one child compares the training examples while the other records possible meanings. They check the one-to-one legend together. On Record, swap jobs and trace the completed performer and stage entry. When the final panel is ready, one child tracks a dial while the other checks the recovered pulse instructions.
Protect both children’s thinking time
If one child finishes a step quickly, ask them to show the source of one deduction and let the other child do the next check. Keep the record visible, invite a small hint when needed, and pause if either child needs a break.
